Holy Crap, it’s August. Why am I here?

2 Aug

August’s Events

Two Front Parlor Evenings:

Tuesday, August 14 @ The Ale House (Troy)
Hosted by Abby Lublin
7:30 – 9:30 pm
680 River Street
Theme: “Heat”

This theme needs no explanation.

Ok, ok.  But really, you know you’ve got this without prompting.

Yes we can! (…talk about the weather in un-boring fashion.)  Have a story of unbearable hotness? Or, heat, as in, your turn on the track at the Olympics?  Miami basketball fans?  Your pet’s sex story?  Near-death by hypothermia? The hottest pepper ever?  Heat between bodies? Your adventures in HVAC?

Come tell a hot tale not-this-Tuesday in Troy.

Monday, August 20 @ The Olde English Pub (Albany)
Hosted by Tim Dawkins
7:30 – 9:30 pm
25 Quackenbush Square
Theme: “Vacation (or Road Trip)”

Unless you’re on one (looking at you with envy, Tim), come share a story!

Share wi(s/d)ely.

If you’d like to throw your name in the can to tell a story, and you know you’ll be a lil’ late, post a comment here.  See you ’round the mic. And as always…

Listening is an act of love.

What? No podcast? Please record and post for the rest of us story deprived Americans! 🙂

I’ll accept your enthusiasm as an internship with Front Parlor to edit, upload, and manage our recordings online!
Please let me know how many credits you need, and which institution will provide paperwork. 😉

All kidding aside, a Front Parlor Podcast would be fantastic. Must needs help. Any volunteers?
