June 2013 Events
Two Front Parlor Evenings:
Tuesday, June 11 @ The Ale House (Troy)
Hosted by Dan Lyles
7:30 – 9:30 pm
680 River Street
Theme: “Short Cuts”
Guest Host/Writer: Dan Lyles!
A line might be the shortest distance between two points, but cutting corners is the shortest way to run around a square.
Then again, there’s nothing like learning to shave some excess time off of getting dressed in the morning if you’re in a hurry to get out of the bathroom.
Where have you learned to take a slightly different path in hopes of getting to the finish line faster? Did it pay off? Bring your stories about getting there, getting lost, getting found and what you learned (plus, of course, every other permutation of the words you can think of) and join us for June’s Front Parlor: Short Cuts.
Monday, June 17 @ The Olde English Pub (Albany)
Hosted by Gregor Wynnyczuk
7:30 – 9:30 pm
25 Quackenbush Square
Theme: “CO-OPeration”
Share widely.
If you’d like to throw your name in the can to tell a story, and you know you’ll be a lil’ late, post a comment here.
See you ’round the mic. And as always…
Listening is an act of love.
