Exorcise your inner (and outer?) demons tonight at the Ale House. Share something without which you cannot or could not live. (Exemptions for air, water, food, shelter, and warmth of course.) Heaviness permitted. Levity encouraged.
* New rule: (ok, old rule, just enforced) 10 tellers. 10. If you KNOW you have a story (or even if you’re on the fence) and you will be late, please post a comment here to throw your name in the can.
Monday, April 21 @ The Olde English Pub (Albany)
Hosted by Gregor Wynnyczuk
7:30 – 9:30 pm
25 Quackenbush Square
Theme: “Quitting Time”

If you’d like to throw your name in the can to tell a story, and you know you’ll be a lil’ late, post a comment here.
See you ’round the mic. And as always…
Listening is an act of love.
Hi Abby, Question about tonight, what format do folks use when they read out loud? Poetry? Short Story? Haiku? If I were to sign up, it would be my first reading… so, trying to figure out what to do. Thanks. Date: Tue, 8 Apr 2014 13:11:09 +0000 To: mabbruzzese@hotmail.com
Hi, Grumpy Bun:
The format is narrative non-fiction. (True stories) No notes. No props. 5 minutes.
Check out “The Moth”‘s story slams online for more info. (But we don’t judge or charge admission fee)
See you tonight!
Alright, I’m in. First time teller… As long as I don’t have to go first!
See you there,
Ron
