January Events! + a Special Announcement

8 Jan

Tuesday, January 8 @ The Ale House (7:30 – 9:30 pm)
Hosted by Mike DeSocio

Theme: “The Greatest Gift”

’Tis the season for gifts – giving them, receiving them and, of course, shopping for them. Now that the holidays have passed, let’s reflect on the craziness of gifting. What’s the best gift you’ve ever received? (It doesn’t have to be tangible). Or what’s the worst gift? The weirdest? The funniest? Tell us your best gift stories, from the holidays or otherwise.

Monday, January 21 (MLK Day) @ The Olde English Pub (7:30 – 9:30 pm)
Hosted by Gregor Wynnyczuk

Theme: “I had a Dream…”

Martin Luther King, Jr. dreamed about a future where people would not be judged by the color of their skin. His articulation of this dream had a powerful impact on the world. How have your dreams impacted the world around you? Or maybe consider how your waking life has impacted your dreams…

Either way, come out to celebrate the power and mystery of dreams on Monday, January 21st at 7:30pm.

The Front Parlor Returns to The Linda!

On Friday, March 15 the Front Parlor returns to the Linda for a very special show featuring Moth Story Slammer and This American Life comedic storyteller Jeff Simmermon.
